Grenadier Models

In my opinion one of the finest miniature producers. Back in the eighties my exposure was predominately cat you own Prince August and Citadel. I visited the east coast of the US in ’84 and discovered in of all places a tobacconists as wonderful new range of american figures; Grenadier. These were fantastic figures. Clean casts with great details and full of character. They were also in keeping with the earlier 25mm rather than the growing ‘heroic’ scale of the GW minis.

I was happy then when Grenadier UK began casting them in Wales for the European market. Still some of the finest figures ever produced.

Grenadier itself ceased operations in the late 90’s but many of the moulds and ranges were picked up by a variety of producers including Mirliton in Italy.
