Talpam Oakwood, Elven Scout
Brown elves are symbiotically linked to deciduous trees and as such become dormant in winter time. Awaking each spring in tandem with the new leaves they quickly reach their full potential. They are most common type of Elf in Glorantha.
Due to their seasonal nature they are rarely encountered far from their native woods. One corner of the Big Rubble is a lush Aldryami woodland known simply as the Garden. From Sea Season through to Earth Season these dense forests are a buzz with brown elves tending to their trees and keeping the Uz out.
Talpam is scout. He could be encountered most anywhere south of the Zola Fel tracking Uz or various chaos beasts that have threatened the sanctity of the forest. He is armed with a living plant known as the Elf Bow which can accurately deliver a deadly arrow over a considerable distance. Like all Aldryami brown elves are sensitive to iron. They are strongly connected to the Plant and Fertility runes.
